About Michelle MacMaster

Since the start of the Covid Pandemic, I have held two positions. First as an Interim Nurse Educator (NE) and then Interim Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). As an NE, my role was to support nursing staff: providing education; reviewing skills and praxis; helping with onboarding and act as a clinical resource for maintaining evidenced based and best practice in delivering care to their patients. As a CNL, my role continues as the clinical resource to nursing staff and in addition to the interdisciplinary team members, in the provision of direct care to patients. I help with coordinating other providers involved in the patients’ care. I work closely with the Patient Care Manager in assisting and assessing clinical development. Over the last few years, I have been involved with BCCNM as Invigilator for their RPNCE licensure. Excited for all these opportunities and growth!
