About Michelle Malik

Michelle is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California with IV Therapy specialization & Prescription Authority. Michelle has particular interests in sports medicine, rehabilitation, female health and weight management. Her most recent research projects have focused on cognitive rehabilitation following a mild traumatic brain injury (concussion), and supporting endurance performance in athletes with botanical medicine. She has completed a year-long focused internship in sports medicine with a focus in female athletes. Michelle completed her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2022 with a sports medicine focus and an undergraduate Bachelor's of Science Degree at the University of Waterloo in 2018, with an Honours Biology major and a double minor in Human Nutrition (Kinesiology) and Psychology. Michelle is very passionate about her academics and is fascinated by the many fields of science, but particularly the field of biochemistry. Michelle additionally has an interest in health care. She believes in the theory that one must target the root causes of sickness and disease, rather than treat the symptoms.
