Hi, this is Michelle Marr and throughout my career I’ve been known as a highly dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with comprehensive experience in performing preoperative evaluations, monitoring patients, and administrating sedation in fast-paced hospital settings. The COVID-19 pandemic was a generational challenge for our healthcare system. I was on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19 at the start of the pandemic, in early 2020. Acting as a COVID-19 screening RN, my team of frontline workers and I had to adapt quickly to an ever-changing situation. As part of our COVID-19 response team, I was able to meet and deal with the general public and maintain poise and self-control under extraordinary circumstances. I also ensured staff compliance with departmental policies, protocols and procedures. I’m proud of the work my team and I did to provide for the safety of patients and staff, as well as support the national effort for screening for COVID-19. What makes me standout is my proven ability to assess patient health problems, maintain vital medical records, and implement nursing care plans. Employers recognize me for providing emotional/physiological support, educating patients, and maintaining hygienic work environments. The personal and professional values I will contribute include determination, teamwork, commitment, communication, respect, and trust which I contribute on a daily basis with every single patient.
