About Michelle McFall-Johnsen

I am a highly motivated worker who wants to incorporate my excellent organizational skills and professional knowledge in a job where I can make a difference. I have worked in Mental Health in inpatient psychiatry for about 20 years. During this time I have worked with children, adolescents, adult patients and their families. Over the years I have also worked with many clinicians as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. I have gained knowledge of CBT, DBT and ACT. De-escalation techniques, therapeutic interventions as well as effective communication have been key elements to my daily interactions with others.I have excellent skills in time management, organization, and running therapeutic programming while maintaining safety in a highly demanding environment. I am an extremely creative person with a strong work ethic. I would like to use my experience and knowledge of psychiatry in combination with my new experience as an admissions and project assistant. I am eager to find a new way to use my unique skills and gifts.
