About Michelle McHale

As the Founding Director of Attachment Parenting UK (APUK), I am dedicated to creating a culture of connection where families feel supported, children are nurtured, and communities thrive. Since establishing APUK, I’ve led its growth into a trusted hub for evidence-based resources, community support, and training that empowers parents and professionals to foster secure, respectful relationships with children.Alongside this role, I am the author of APUK’s Positive Discipline Course, which equips parents and caregivers with practical tools to navigate challenges with empathy, boundaries, and respect. The course reflects my passion for combining the science of attachment with accessible strategies that support both children’s emotional wellbeing and parents’ confidence. My work is grounded in the belief that connection, compassion, and conscious leadership are at the heart of raising resilient children and building stronger societies.
