About Michelle Odonnell

I am a hardworking, adaptable, and responsible Master of Biochemistry graduate working in assay development at Abbott Point of Care and my years of school and research. I have a methodical and focused approach to work with a strong drive to see things through to completion. In my current position, I have designed various experiments to test the quality and formulated bioreagents for use in a high sensitivity assay. In my recent research efforts, I was able to develop methodology for a new study in a medicinal organic chemistry lab and theoretically develop two biotech products with accompanying business plans. My interests include analytical chemistry, clinical chemistry, and the application of biochemistry to pharmacology. I have experience in these areas through my academic career. My top skills include, various chromatography (LC and GC) and spectroscopy (NMR, MS, ect.) techniques, statistics in R-Studio, Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, ect.), organization, time management, problem solving, and team work.
