About Michelle Plester

I am a Senior Calculation Analyst with over 20 years' experience in UK pensions. I am a supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging team leader who assists team members in their continuing development and achievements. I am a key member of the team who is very approachable and extremely well organised. In my role I have successfully installed a large number of automated calculations for a variety of new clients. I have implemented and maintain a resource page to enable my fellow Analysts to have a central access point for documents required for our role and training purposes. I also lead training sessions on a variety of subject areas. I am currently in role as County Commissioner for Kent East county. I am responsible for leading a great team of volunteers who look after over 250 units across the county, with a focus on providing opportunities for girls and young women to get the most out of Guiding. I work weekly as part of a smaller team of volunteers to lead a group of girls aged 10-18 (Guides and Rangers).
