About Michelle Preble

Michelle Preble grew up in Colorado Springs and is the owner and founder of Om Shanti Yoga, LLC. She is the Student Success Specialist for Centennial School District R-1 in San Luis, Colorado. Michelle is a Certified Mindfulness Life Coach, an 800hr+ registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance; she is trained in various forms of yoga, such as Vinyasa, Adaptive Yoga for Amputees, kids yoga and mindfulness with an emphasis on trauma informed yoga for youth, and is also trained to teach yoga on stand-up paddle boards. Michelle loves to work with schools and universities to bring mindfulness techniques and yoga movement to their students and teachers. She has helped gyms and studios create a safe space for practitioners to come and practice and has worked with several non-profits with introducing yoga and mindfulness to surrounding communities across Colorado. Michelle re-found her love of yoga after her mother's death in 2015 when she decided it was time to follow her passion. Michelle has been practicing yoga since high school and teaching for the last couple years. Yoga has brought so much more to Michelle's life and she absolutely believes that yoga is for everyone. It is not just stretching, but a path to follow in this sometimes crazy life. Michelle is here for you, to help you learn about yourself, and to help you grow.
