I am a Telephone Triage Nurse. Board certified in Ambulatory Care nursing and in Lean Six Sigma for healthcare. I assess patients over the phone, answer health questions and determine what kind of care they need. To determine this I ask patients specific questions in order to asses the situation and refer them to the proper healthcare provider as appropriate. I also consult patients’ health information and electronic medical charts online to better assist them. With the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic I gained valuable experience in the area of remote patient care monitoring by leveraging technology to provide hospital level care to patients in their home. Leadership/Charge nurse, preceptor, and shift supervisor experience. Proficient in scheduling, staffing analysis and process improvement including utilization of EPIC EMR, Kronos scheduling, Microsoft Office: Word, Exel, Teams, Cisco phone systems.
