About Michelle Richardson
As I work with children and families I know I am walking in my purpose. I have worked with families since I was 12 years old starting with babysitting, serving at the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club as a youth, engagement in my children's school and facilitating learning in parent leadership. I have an early learning background with many trainings in the field as well as diversity, equity and outreach, facilitation, classroom management, restorative justice, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), speaking and writing. I am professional, creative, encouraging and desire to partner with organizations that have a vision for equity, inclusion and social justice as part of their supportive process. Writing and connecting with others bring me joy. I write for children and adults including poetry, rhyming narratives, mentoring curriculum for children and motivational writing for adults and women. I have taught poetry to elementary students and am exploring self-publishing. At this time I am not commercially published.
