I’m Michelle Ross, a certified Preemie Parent Coach and former NICU mom based in Toronto. My daughter’s early arrival at 27 weeks—and her 127-day stay at Mount Sinai’s NICU—profoundly shaped my journey. That experience birthed my passion to support other parents walking a similar path. I help transform the way families are supported—after the NICU and beyond. As a former NICU mom and a certified professional life coach, I understand the unique challenges parents face when they transition home or step into long-term caregiving for children with exceptional abilities. The overwhelm—mentally, physically, and financially—can feel endless. That’s why I partner with organizations that serve NICU families to train in resilience-building practices that prevent caregiver burnout and ensure parents leave the hospital with hope, not just discharge papers. At the same time, I coach professional parents who are also caregivers to reclaim their time, energy, and clarity so they can thrive in their careers and at home—without the constant cycle of guilt and exhaustion. My work bridges the gap between systems of care and the lived experience of parents. By addressing both sides, I help create sustainable support that uplifts families, strengthens organizations, and builds a future where parents and children can flourish together.
