About Michelle Royce

Michelle has worked in the aged care space for over 15 years, in roles from RAO to admissions officer, moving into marketing, promotions and community engagement in 2017. Her experience ranges from partnering with internal and external stakeholder networks to create and curate strategic, newsworthy content for distribution through a range of media including radio, social, television and print, brand management and reviews, to driving projects with intergenerational focus as an Arts in Health Advocate. As a published author, she works with a particular emphasis on the therapeutic and healing power of storytelling to connect and inform audiences. Michelle is committed to supporting and delivering quality, person centred care, creating content and participating in projects that enrich the lives of others, and an approach that places respect, empathy, equity, diversity and inclusion at the forefront of her engagement with residents, families and colleagues. She’s also a podcaster, storyteller, writer and as "Ellie Royce", a children's author, building ideas and words into story bridges that take her readers to places of wonder and enchantment.
