About Michelle Simon

It all started with "the box". When it landed on my desk years ago, I was intrigued. Significantly larger than the proverbial shoe box, filled with hundreds of invoices and documents, I saw opportunity. I relished this task that others had shunned, and it shaped my career. I became investigative, thorough, diligent, and learned the values of determination and perseverance. I learned that I am at my best when challenged. I am an accomplished financial professional who executes my responsibilities with integrity and accountable stewardship. Through the diverse industries of the clients that I have served, and the varied positions I have held in private wealth, travel and entertainment, I offer organizations a unique perspective, and encourage colleagues and team members to also see things differently. One of my greatest strengths lies in partnering with system developers, from the planning stage through testing and implementation, to effectively communicate business requirements, and to ensure that strict control and contractual needs are successfully met. I lead by example, and happily invest time in coaching and empowering those I work with to achieve personal and organizational success. I am skilled at building strong teams that deliver results on time, accurately, and compliantly. For me, learning doesn’t stop when I leave the office. I love studying foreign languages and travelling to put them to good use! Bridging the communication gap, even just a simple hello in their native language, is so rewarding for me. As a marathon runner (I’ve completed five), I have been fortunate to travel to combine all of these interests. My positive attitude, extensive experience and proven business and technological skills can help your organization succeed. I invite you to contact me at michellemsimon@gmail.com.
