About Michelle Steinhauer

For 18 years I worked with the Alberta Government just me and the computer and some people from time to time. As the years went by and my life did also, some life situations happened and my career took a total change. I began to work hands on with people and sometimes the computer. I started to work with a Naturopath and also took a full time job working with women and men that were incarcerated and living in minimum security healing homes. This began to grow on me and I loved to journey with them which also helped my own healing journey. Achievements yes with the government I did receive an award from the Minister's office (Solicitor General) for being on the ARTS team and I represented the Sol Gen Justice Initiatives office. I worked with the DM's, the ADM's and the Ministers office. The skills I received from working with the governments were yes computers skills and personable skills talking to shareholders, government "people". The healing I received from working with the vulnerable and our people was immensely gratifying and belong words this is where I belong :) I received not an award but an eagle feather 2x completing the facilitator training for the Warrior Program which deals with healing from Anger and Rage. Throughout my working careers I received many trainings from Administrative to Harm Reduction to Suicide and Trauma training.
