About Michelle Sutton

Working with veterans is an area I fell into as an ADF spouse. Firstly I had the opportunity to transfer my insurance background into the compensation and advocacy space and this then led to Employment and transition support. My family have experienced the ongoing stress of uncertainty in our lives that many current and ex miliary families go through. The constant relocations, training exercises and deployments takes a toll on not only the ADF member but also their family. When it comes to transition and finding meaningful employment to provide financial stability post discharge can very overwhelming. I like to simplify the process and help employers understand the incredible skills our veterans have gained in the ADF along with their spouses. I do not use fancy terms or corporate buzz words and I find small talk Awkward (don't we all?). You get a real person when working with me and we will have real conversations. My other interest (side gig) alongside veterans' employment is fitness for mental health and wellbeing. I work with individuals who experience a variety of mental health disorders and create fitness and exercise plans to get their bodies moving and clear their minds. Watch this space! Let connect?
