About Michelle Travers

Building strong relationships focused on respect and trust is of high importance to me. I have had the honor and privilege of building lasting and meaningful relationships for Civil Air Patrol (CAP). As a public affairs officer, my primary responsibility is connecting with diverse audiences and making them a part of CAP’s story and journey. Status quo is not part of my innovative process. That is why I constantly challenge myself to create the most innovative and forward-thinking products and services. I pride myself on creating simple and memorable products from technical and complex initiatives. Whether through print and video journalism, photography, print layout, web design, media relations, community relations, training, branding, and social media, I have mastered these skills and tools that spark partnerships and connect with the community. I currently work with some members of the Congressional Squadron, CAP, by providing the government liaison with captivating photos to aid in keeping Congress informed of key political developments and in educating public officials, agencies and other organizations about CAP’s missions and programs.
