About Michelline Vanstaden

I passed Grade 12 in 2014. After grade 12 I worked at checkers just to gain some experience, I was a scanning Clerk. While working at checkers I then applied at Harambee to do a learnership or at least get a better job. Harambee is a leading youth career non profit organization that seeks to address youth unemployment with local companies. So my application at Harambee was successfully, I then went through a bridging programme to see in which professional industry I would be good at. Judging from my personality and sense of humour, I then qualified at the Short term insurance side. Finally I got the Santam learnership, but I was placed at Brokerage. I was then placed at JFA Short-term Brokers. I had to go through an interview first before I could be placed there. I started the learnership in February 2016 and graduated in February 2017.I got my full credits and experience in the Short term industry. However JFA Short-term Brokers offered me an internship contract, which is what I am currently doing. The contract started in March 2017 and expires in March 2018.
