About Michiel Voet

About Michiel Former Special Operations Medical Technician | Course Author | Senior Sales | Education Manager | Sustainability Advocate | Learner A journey that began in the demanding yet hallowed grounds of military medicine has led me to where I stand today. With deployments to Lebanon, Afghanistan, and several missions across Africa, my career has been defined by service, passion, and an hunger for knowledge. As a former Canadian-trained Special Operations Medical Technician, I've had the privilege to serve alongside some of the worlds most dedicated professionals. The spectrum of my experiences ranges from frontline medicine to crafting the blueprint for medical education through authoring three comprehensive medical courses currently in use within the military. As a NCO from the Unit's medical team, I honed my skills in management, decision-making, and the art of Tactical Medicine. The commitment to bettering myself and those around me did not halt at my military responsibilities; it extended into the classrooms and hospitals of the world. I indulged in various medical courses globally and volunteered in an emergency room, further sharpening my acumen in medical sciences and patient care. In pursuit of a more sustainable future, I dove into the complexities of sustainability with a keen interest in geopolitics, understanding that the choices we make today shape the world of tomorrow. My two-and-a-half-year tenure with Embryo Angling was more than a job; it was an enlightening chapter where I've learned the intricacies of finance, management, and marketing—all through the lens of sustainable practice. I am dedicated to leveraging my background in decision-making, team leadership, and medical expertise to make contributions to the world of Emergency Medicine. Learning never ceases, and I remain passionate about absorbing new perspectives in healthcare innovation, and the dynamics of sustainable development.
