Michael has held a variety of executive roles within International, Governmental, Industry and Law Enforcement environs including at INTERPOL, driving business strategy, risk mitigation, crisis response, change and dynamic growth. As the founder of Critical Insights Consultancy, working across the globe he provides world class independent critical thinking to his clients delivering insight, guidance and leadership for their business transformation in the digital age, whilst seeking to ensure sustainability to achieving net zero goals. Providing extensive expertise in bridging ethical technology led innovation between public / private sectors to address government and public ESG concerns, he actively supports startups and social enterprise - including as Group CEO of Breathe Points. A recognised specialist in threat / risk mitigation, big data, business intelligence and analysis, threat identification, crisis response, major events and disaster recovery. Michael has extensive and proven experience in tackling global / national security, organised crime and terror threats, he has also developed and implemented global major event (FIFA/IOC/IIFX)and border security solutions utilising best in class biometrics and AI technologies, leading to threat reduction outcomes and protection of critical infrastructures.
