I am a highly experienced clothing technician with a broad spectrum of skills. • I have enjoyed a lot of commercial success in my career. • I was craft trained in bespoke tailoring, eventually moving into factory operator training and production management. • I have worked on most of the larger uniform contracts providing technical advice to sales, account management and end user. • I have excellent customer facing skills. • My tailoring skills have equipped me to advise in areas such as special measure garments and transgender fitting. • I am well versed in most aspects of clothing manufacture, including costing and work study. • I have travelled all over the world training and setting up production units. • I have an in-depth knowledge of PPE, the standards, and the current legislation. • I am accomplished in specifications, patterns, sizing, systems, and product development. • I am trained in the use of most creative software used in the industry. • I can build quality systems to cover all aspects of clothing production. • I have been involved in a number of industry leading ERP and PLM systems. • I understand systems and processes and I have assisted in the implementation of ISO9001-14001-45001 as an integrated quality management system. • My skill sets are quite broad and have been described as unique to the industry. • I continue to seek new knowledge and challenges.
