Hi! I’m Micka, a creative visionary and results-driven Graphic Designer (5+ years) in creative industries. Currently working as a Freelance Graphic Designer. I began my journey as a Front-End Web Developer intern at Century Properties, honing my UI design skills. This early experience, coupled with my academic foundation in Information Technology with a major in Multimedia Arts from the University of the East - Caloocan, propelled me into a freelance career. I took on diverse projects, exposing myself to various design approaches and creative challenges. Later, I joined AFRY, a leading engineering services company, where I further developed my expertise as a Multimedia Artist. Having gained valuable experience, I've now returned to full-time freelancing. Throughout my career I’ve gained experience as a versatile creative with a focus on Graphic Design, Branding and Conceptual thinking while also developing a passion for Motion Graphics, and UI Design. I place a high value on kindness and empathy in both my personal and professional life, and I strive to promote these values through education and collaboration. Through education and collaboration, I am committed to creating design solutions that shift the focus from treating design as an afterthought to embracing a culture of innovation, building meaningful connections between technology and humanity. I have expert knowledge of Adobe Suite software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects, and basic knowledge of Figma and Adobe XD, and excellent knowledge of Canva.
