I began my career in transportation nearly forty years ago as Construction Superintendent and Chief Inspector with the Texas Department of Transportation. Over 27 years with TxDOT, I worked my way through the ranks with positions in inspection, roadway and bridge design, plan review, project management and finally managing a regional procurement service center for eight TxDOT districts. For the last decade, I have worked for private consultancies managing growth strategies, business development, and operations in the Texas transportation sector.
