About Micky Wozny
Originally from Nottinghamshire, I've worked in animation for 10 years and have completed an MA in Directing Animation at the National Film and Television School. Whilst at the NFTS, I directed Max (2018), Dots (2018) Let Her Rip (2019) and my award-winning film Something Borrowed (2020). My team and I completed animated short 'Odd One Out' this year, funded by the BFI. Alongside filmmaking, I've been Animator on JoJo & Gran Gran preschool series 2 and 3, Lead Animator on Happy Town and currently I'm animating on the new preschool series Rafi the Wishing Wizard at Blue Zoo. I'm passionate about rich and authentic storytelling and I'm eager to bring stronger female roles to the forefront of animated media.
