About Micol Galasso

Hi, I'm Micol. I'm 24 years old and I was born and raised in Trieste, Italy. If I have to describe myself in 3 words, I would use determined, organized and proactive. When I was in high school, I studied languages, especially English, Spanish and German: I loved so much English and Spanish that I attended the bachelor's degree in Business Management in English at the University of Trieste. In 2015 I attended a course at the University of Coffee of illycaffè in Trieste: I never thought that in a small cup of coffee there would be a complex market that permits people to improve themselves and their community. During my years in the university, I carried out other team projects which strengthened my soft skills and helped me put into practice the theory studied. In particular, the project I am most proud of is on Sustainability of Coffee Production and Consumption. Moreover, I started tutoring to high school students on English and Mathematics: as of today, I followed around 10 people with excellent results. I am also working as Social Media Manager for the social media profiles of a café in Trieste. In 2023 I concluded my studies in the University of Trieste with the final thesis on Circular Economy in the Coffee Industry. Moreover, since 2023 I became part of the team of Bazzara Espresso, an innovative artisan coffee roaster, as Junior Business Developer.
