With extensive experience in leading teams through hotel pre-opening and opening phases, I excel in providing comprehensive operations training, conducting service audits, and implementing software and hardware solutions to drive success. Boasting over 15 years in the industry, I possess in-depth knowledge of diverse hotel business needs. My expertise spans a wide range of establishments, from intimate 8-room boutique hotels to bustling downtown business hotels and expansive 1,800+ room mega-resorts, including all-inclusive environments. Furthermore, I am well-versed in the specific requirements of over 20 countries, encompassing CALA and USA regions. Currently, I am at the forefront of all OPERA Property Management System (PMS) projects, spearheading technical and implementation aspects for HRS. Collaborating seamlessly with other OPERA leads across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and EMEA, I continuously enhance the implementation experience for our valued customers. My proficiency lies in guiding OPERA implementations from inception to completion. I am adept at setting up new servers, installing Oracle databases and OPERA applications, conducting version upgrades, and seamlessly transitioning from other PMS software to OPERA. In addition, I possess expert-level skills in configuring all OPERA modules, establishing interfaces (IFC8) such as CAS, PBX, POS, DLS, CCW, and embracing new OXI protocols and HTNG/OEDS/OWS interface types. Notably, I have been at the forefront of global OPI (Oracle Payment Interface) implementations for HRS, further enhancing my reputation as a leading authority in the field. OPERA has become my third language, complementing my fluency in Spanish as a native of Venezuela. I strive to challenge myself daily to ensure our customers' utmost satisfaction remains sky-high.
