About Miguel Prates Salgueiro

Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish, I am currently working as an OTC Products Valuation Account Manager, at BNP Paribas, in Lisbon. I have a degree in Translation, a postgraduate course in International Relations, but I am currently working on developing my financial sector’s knowledge in order to strive and succeed within the area: over the last few years I attended some brief courses, sponsored and provided by BNP Paribas and other organisations, such as IFB, which main focus was on financial markets, OTC products, collateral management and MS Office Excel (in a world that runs progressively more and more on Excel pages this is a skill I am aiming to develop at its fullest as to achieve its domain). I consider myself an individual with good analytical skills, systematic approach and logical thinking, while be in a full team player that’s always willing to help my team in achieving its success and goals. Further to this, I’m proactive, ambitious, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility that allows me to recognise my mistakes and work on them daily until they get corrected. Also self motivated and detail-oriented, I consider myself quite capable to multitask, thus also considering myself as having impeccable time management skills; besides, I’m success driven and will do what it takes to achieve my objectives and targets, both professionally and personally.
