About Mihail Lazarev

Multilingual information management and policy advisor with 7+ years of international experience across humanitarian operations, EU institutions, and strategic consulting. I help organizations capture, protect, and use information strategically — whether responding to crisis, improving compliance, or driving digital transformation. At the ICRC, I’ve led IM operations across six delegations and HQ departments, managed cross-functional teams, and contributed to global restructuring efforts supporting staff. My work has included crisis response, delegation downsizing, policy development, and the rollout of compliance tools and training models.Previously, I supported French companies entering the Balkan market, advised an MEP at the European Parliament on legislative files and diplomacy, and delivered political risk and intelligence reports for private sector clients. I hold degrees from MGIMO and Paris II Panthéon-Assas, and I speak six languages fluently. What drives me is building systems that make complexity manageable — and connecting people to the information they need to lead, decide, and deliver.Specialties:Information Governance · Digital Transformation · Crisis Information Management · GDPR & SOP Compliance · EU Policy · Risk Analysis · Stakeholder Engagement · Team Leadership · Capacity Building · Multilingual Communication (EN, FR, RU, SR, ES, SK)
