Finland born and educated entrepreneur with 20 year’s experience in tourism industry. 2008 we established Mandala Travel, offering wide range of tours in Asia, Afrika, Latin America and Europe. Firmly committed to adventure and sustainable tourism. My work has included working as tour leader, product manager, content writer, event organiser and speaker, travel concepts creator, business developer, creating e- commerce platform, and doing budgeting, financing, operations, marketing, sustainable tourism, recruitment, and training. My understanding of adventure tourism comes from many years of travelling and a collecting experience of operations, in Asia, Africa and Latin America and inspiring a new guides and building active engaging adventures around the world. Working in emerging destinations offered a rare glimpse into the effect of tourism on local communities. This has created a passion to better understand the impact of tourism on people, their economy and the environment around them.
