About Mika Ojanto

I have strong experience of developing demanding parts, sub-assemblies and products in cross-functional and cross-cultural environment. I have been responsible for innovating and implementing leading mechanics solutions and product architectures in highly competitive sector of industry from concepting to mass-production. In my daily work I am used to be the first contact point for global supplier network, sourcing, factories, industrial design, product management, quality, HW, RF and testing. In addition to my own design work I have been guiding and mentoring mechanics design team and other stakeholders such as simulations, dimensional design and testing. As a designer I am fond of challenges and problem solving with creative and analytical methods. I like having fresh parts of new product in my hands and start building, testing and improving the prototype. I have excellent knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as injection molding, sheet metal, die casting, CNC and different assembly methods. I am empathic, reliable, fair, and good at organizing things. I operate in an industrious and goal-oriented manner but always with respect for others and their opinions. I have strong a sense of obligation and responsibility in matters that I handle.
