About Mika Peterson
I am extremely passionate about the issue of food insecurity in Manitoba, particularly ensuring children have access to healthy and nutritious food and are nourished both physically and mentally. Currently working towards a food secure community through leading a team of 15 superb Volunteer Services crew members and over 150 volunteer everyday. A huge passion of mine includes overseeing Harvest’s Meals2Go program, which serves over 2100 school-age children in Manitoba each week. My background in hospitality, fundraising, and social media has given me the ambition to create enjoyable and meaningful opportunities for Manitobans to engage in a cause close to my heart.
