About Mika-Petteri Lundgren

As a Principal Hardware Architect at Varjo Technologies the main responsibilities include heading product concepting, architecture and system design activities and also participating to hardware design, team leading, partner and supplier management etc. I'm also heading a team of forward-looking and highly-skilled senior engineers/managers/directors. Prior to working at Varjo I have held senior lead positions within Nordic ID, Nokia and Microsoft with the remit of creating new and innovative product concepts within the smart phone and RFID market. One of my key achievements to date was to change the direction and mindset of key stake holders within Microsoft which lead to groundbreaking solutions and in turn set Microsoft on a new path of development. My growth mindset has given me an ability to work globally and within cross-functional environments. I have the capacity to exceed given set targets and confidence to complete complex and challenging tasks. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of hardware design and architecture of complex electronics devices. My target has been to design and create the most innovative and ground-breaking devices to provide world-class customer experience. I'm very interested in learning everything around IoT. I have done several Arduino, ESP-8266 and Raspberry Pi based solutions for different kind of IoT applications.
