About Mikaela Bernhardt

I am a Bay Area Native, artist, and landscape designer who held a paint brush before a pencil. I have 5 years of experience as a landscape designer managing projects and supporting my colleagues on a broad range of public and private sector projects working from schematic design through construction documentation. I thrive working in a communicative and collaborative team environment that allows me to contribute to the aesthetic, practical, social, and technical aspects of a project while being challenged to grow my schema as a landscape designer. I strive to go the extra mile in project work I am presented with and take pride in being thorough, thoughtful and detail oriented. As a young professional I approach things as a sponge: every experience is an opportunity to grow my knowledge base and continue connecting the dots. Asking questions to better understand and clarify things is something I do not shy away from.
