About Mikayla Dever

I am an alum of the Rutgers University Women's Lacrosse team. I majored in Finance at the Rutgers Business School. Additionally, I was Treasurer of Rutgers Corporate Finance Society for two years, and I was a founding member when the group first started. I am interested in many different sectors of the finance industry. I specifically am intrigued by product management roles and the process of the digital platform development and creation to the client financial services. I am a very determined and competitive person through my sports life, and I always strive to be the best of the best. Some technical skills I have learned are Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI and Power Query. I have experience in roles both in Sports Management and Events, the Mortgage Insurance industry working in the Operations and Risk Counter Party departments, and in the consulting world as a Business Transformation intern. At Rutgers, I have been on the Dean's List for three semesters and have been involved in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for 6 semesters. My final year, I served as the VP of Career and Alumni Relations on the E-Board of SAAC. I was awarded the PNC Bank Student-Athlete Achiever Award for my leadership qualities and was initiated into Chi Alpha Sigma Delta chapter of the National College Athlete Honor Society in recognition of high academic and athletic achievements. I currently work as an annuity internal wholesaler, and recently passed my SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and the Life and Health Insurance Exam!
