About Mikayla Pearson

I am a Human Resources Professional passionate about fostering genuine connections with as many people as I can along my career journey. I firmly believe that in today's world who you know surpasses what you know. Having the mindset:"How can I be of value to this person?" when I make a new connection has allowed me to not only find new opportunities for myself, but also for others. Networking is a two-way street, and it is important to give more than you take from your connections. Currently, I am working for Best Life Brands, a holding company for 5 different franchised brands in the home health care and aging services industry, as the Human Resources Programs Specialist. My main role is creating and implementing HR related programs and best practices that help support over 500 franchised business owners with the recruitment, engagement retention of their employees. This role requires me to be highly-motivated with refined interpersonal & multitasking skills because of it, I excel in Public Speaking, Leadership, and Microsoft Office.
