About Mikayla Stone

As a counselor providing services to clients in the school setting, I am able to utilize therapeutic skills from my master's program and gain clinical experience in field work to further my career in providing professional services for children and adolescents. In my career, I hope to pursue trauma-informed approaches to impact kids while considering the holistic, diverse aspects of the individual. As a personable communicator who is teamwork-oriented, my focus on building strong professional relationships has been a valuable asset throughout my educational and work career. I have a passion for promoting the well-being of others through advocacy as well as learning an individual's story. My goal is to help others heal from their traumas and bring out their resiliency factors. I believe that diversity both in humanity and nature nourishes beautiful color and texture to our often dull world.
