About Mike Alcorn

As a graduate of an MSc in Integrative Biology and an MA in Management, I aim to bring the same approach of interdisciplinary collaboration to all of my work. I also have over a decade’s experience in high-performance collegiate sport as a coach, manager, fundraiser and recruiter with the University of Guelph. I have contributed to numerous research papers on topics such as the financial cost of sport participation, season ticket holder engagement, and sponsorship, and provide team and leadership coaching to the next generation of student researchers at the University of Toronto and The Reach Alliance. After my M.Sc. and M.A. at the University of Guelph, I worked as an independent consultant on strategic planning and stakeholder engagement projects with some of Ontario's provincial sport organizations and conservation authorities. In my role at T1, I focus on research development, sponsorship strategy and measurement. I work to play a driving role in the strengthening of T1's measurement methods, with a particular focus in asset valuation.
