About Mike Bailey

I've always been passionate about teaching and helping people better understand their financial situation. My goal is to empower you through personal service and education. It's important to me that you feel in control and equipped to manage your financial health. From our first meeting I want you to feel relaxed, valued and know that we are in this together. We'll start off by discussing your goals and dreams for the future. Then we'll work together to build a financial strategy to get you from dream to goal achieved. We'll meet regularly along the way to make sure your plan is adjusted for your life. One of my clients recently moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia. This was a huge life change. They wanted reassurance that they would have the option to work or not work as they moved forward in the next phase of their life – this was causing them a lot of anxiety. Following our meeting to review their strategy I was able to reassure them that they had the flexibility to choose whether or not to work - this is why I love what I do. Along with my love of teaching I love learning. I have just completed my Certified Financial Planning® designation which helps me to better serve my clients in building investment and tax strategies, retirement planning, employee benefits, estate and insurance planning. My team includes my branch office administrator Brittany Weatherbee who works by my side to ensure that our office runs smoothly and is dedicated to providing you with an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint. My community and giving back are so important to me. I volunteer with the Family SOS, which is a local non-profit children's organization who assist families and children by providing counselling to improve relationships within families, health and well-being and increasing parenting confidence. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my two children, Gabrielle and Jalen, and my wife, Laura. We live in Bedford, Nova Scotia and I can't picture ever leaving this beautiful community.
