About Mike Bartlett

I speak truth to power and am a corporate communications leader. My speciality is issues and reputation management, advising senior leaders through challenging situations, helping them to achieve the best results possible in the circumstances. I do this by horizon-scanning and scenario planning for potential threats and opportunities, providing strategic counsel when appropriate, using my extensive experience across a number of sectors allied to my news judgment. Sectors include: Telecoms, Tech, Fintech, Natural Resources, Energy, Transport, Engineering and Robotics. I have been successful because of my strategic insight, thoughtful advice and collaborative approach. I have led teams and enjoy doing so, but I have also plenty of experience working as a sole operator. I have both in-house and agency experience and am used to advising, coordinating and implementing communications across a range of disciplines, including regulatory, legal, turnaround, crisis, internal and external communications and public affairs.
