About Mike Berg

Dr. Michael Berg is a scientific consultant active in the fields of Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, and Safety. Dr. Berg received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and a Ph.D. in Toxicology from Texas A&M University. Since completion of his doctorate, Dr. Berg has spent over a decade assisting clients with issues related to chemical exposure as it relates to both regulatory conformance and disease development. In a consulting role, Dr. Berg has provided on-scene toxicology and chemical expertise on dozens of large-scale hazardous materials (HAZMAT) incidents in addition to assisting companies with their day-to-day occupational health and safety needs. Due to his academic background combined with board-certifications in both Industrial Hygiene (CIH) and Safety (CSP), Dr. Berg has been put forth as an expert in legal matters related to toxicology, industrial hygiene, and safety. Dr. Berg has a passion for mentoring new Occupational Health and Safety Professionals albeit in their early career or academic setting. In addition to providing consulting services, Dr. Berg is a Contributing (Adjunct) Faculty Member at Baylor University as part of the community-focused Master’s of Public Health Program.
