About Mike Blake

I am the President and Managing Member of Rappahannock Environmental Group, LLC. We offer a wide range of environmental services including wetland delineations and permitting, Resource Protection Area (RPA) delineations and mitigation, erosion and sediment control (E&S) inspections, VSMP permitting, and stormwater pollution prevention plan inspections. Additional areas of expertise include significant experience in E&S and stormwater management (SWM) design, Best Management Practice (BMP) inspections and maintenance, project management and proposal writing. I work closely with public clients and am involved in project and contract management. At a previous employer I was the LEED Project Manager that led a project team in a successful effort to obtain LEED Silver certification on a new commercial building in the City of Fredericksburg. I have designed three rainwater harvesting systems in the Fredericksburg area and continue to look for opportunities for providing sustainable stormwater solutions. Specialties: LEED Project Management, Rainwater Harvesting Systems, low impact development, wetland delineations and permitting, SWM and E&S design, services, RPA delineations, BMP Maintenance Programs, and local government coordination and negotiations.
