About Mike Bostock

My career has, so far, spanned over 40 years of sales, marketing and general management and music performance experience from the lowest levels of traineeship with United Biscuits to the provision of strategic help to large corporations such as O2, HSBC, Jupiter Asset Management, Tesco, Dixon Store Group, the NHS, Mail Marketing International, BT, BTI and Williams Lea. I still sing and now run a music for cancer charity. In recent years, I have designed online shops using the Shopify platform and including the selection of several hundred products. Most recently, I have created and launched a charity, raising funds for the treatment of cancer. The charity, Raze the Roof, is based around the creations and managing every aspect of multiple music events and after a very successful launch in 2024 will continue into the future. I acquired my interest in new products and businesses when working as Marketing Director to William Johnson, one of the UK’s most successful and prolific inventors. He is currently known for his work on the next generation of super flat screen television. I have acquired skills across most marketing and sales elements including customer understanding through data analysis, campaign content planning and execution, results analysis and business modelling, largely for online campaigns in recent years. I have acquired extensive computer based skills used in direct, on-line marketing and the very latest on-line communication techniques. This has enabled me to advise companies on a fully integrated approach to both their marcomms and their internal communications. The marketing arena has suited me well. I remain intensely enthusiastic with any new project and I bring an increasingly strong drive to incorporate new methodologies to achieve better results and increased return on investment. In recent years I have continued to develop skills in online retailing and have built shops using the Shopify platform and am currently building a shop using Wordpress and an assortment of appropriate plugins including Elementor/Astra/Spectra, WooCommerce and Tutor LMS Course software. I have performed a variety of senior roles including Marketing Director, Managing Director, Account Director, Operations Director, Consultant, and Training Director.
