I'm a licensed psychologist and a licensed specialist in school psychology. I founded and directed the group psychology practice, APACenter (Austin Psychology & Assessment Center) from 2007 to 2020. I am the author of Tech Generation: Raising Balanced Kids in a Hyper-Connected World, which was published in 2018 by Oxford University Press. My areas of expertise include life satisfaction, well-being, the needs of children and teens, effective parenting practices, and the balanced use of technology.
