About Mike Bryant

Best known for providing technical consultancy services for the semiconductor industry via Future Horizons and for designing various audio products, notably in PABX voice services and in professional audio products via InPoSe and G&M Consultants. Also do some investing in and assisting promising startups in audio. But in fact electronic design has become more of a sideline and my main interest is in a greener future. Now lobbying/arguing with the UK government on their rules and subsidies for planting new woods and forests as the subsidies don't even cover the costs and I'll never see the trees harvested so not worth doing. And with food prices at the farmgate so low despite all the noise about food being expensive, at the moment it's more profitable to leave farmland unused and allow the soil to improve naturally, than try to grow anything to either feed the world or improve the air. This cannot be right. Briefly (in)famous as owner of part of the Todd brook that feeds into the ToddBrook reservoir near Whaley Bridge where the dam almost collapsed in 2019. View of Chinook flying constantly back and forth for several days shoring it up successfully. But after promising to rebuild the dam properly, it's now just being repaired in ways that many locals are not happy with.
