With a background Software Engineering and Cloud Architecture; having worked as both a Solution Architect and Lead Software Developer, I possess strong problem-solving skills and passion for technology and have over twenty years’ experience working in senior technical roles within the cloud and software development industry. I have successfully led teams responsible for the design and delivery of innovative and award-winning cloud applications across a range of Client sectors, including automotive and eCommerce. In particular I have over ten years of experience in the Automotive Aftersales marketplace, having been responsible for the successful design and delivery of the BMW Bodyshop Programme Portal software in the UK and Ireland, as well as cloud software systems for both Renault and HONDA in the UK. My experience in software development spans over twenty years, working as a Lead Software Developer (Web / Cloud), with hands on experience of the full development life cycle, including; business analysis, software architecture, solution design, project specification, project delivery, team management, lead Microsoft.Net / MVC / C#/ SQL Server software development, testing, source control, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), documentation and end user training. I am a team player who leads by example, ensuring projects meet the highest technical standards, are delivered on time and to budget and stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
