As a result-oriented manager with a proven record of supply chain optimization, I combine excellent analysis and planning skills with a detailed understanding of inventory and purchasing systems. I also use these skills for innovative sales solutions. My employment includes 9 years at Cardinal Health Supply Chain Services in roles of increasing responsibility. As Inventory Manager, I had corporate oversight for $4.5 billion in product at 23 distribution centers and led successful efforts to reduce Cardinal’s inventory reserve impact while increasing operating efficiency through participation in multiple Lean Six Sigma projects. As Purchasing System Optimization Manager, I spearheaded the design, development, and testing of a purchasing system in accordance with Cardinal’s new multi-tiered network model and developed and implemented an in-house system certification program, saving the company money and ensuring training efficiency. Additional accomplishments include achieving a 95% raw service level and 80% forecast accuracy and creating a process that led to a 15% inventory reduction within a 6-week period. With my experience at Capital I have been able to leverage my "Big 3" corporate experience to provide sales solutions that may not fit the model of a Fortune 20 company. In addition I have been able to provide a bridge between Purchasing and Finance as inventory is the #1 asset in distribution companies.
