About Mike Debetta

I’m a 13-year sales and marketing veteran who thrives on the art of storytelling and has a passion for high-visibility brand building, but who also cringes at the idea of telling his own story – so this should be interesting… 5 things about me and my work. Here we go. 1) I’m originally a New Yorker, currently residing in Miami, FL…. Which is super rare, I know. 2) I’ve lived in a few different cities along the way, each presenting unique opportunities to work with world class organizations spanning the NFL, NBA, NHL, and even the Department of Defense. 3) I’ve been lucky enough to work with some truly iconic brands over the years, including United Airlines, Dunkin' Donuts, ‘47 Brand, AT & T, Constellation Brands, Verizon, DoorDash, Nissan, Apple and Uber, to name a few, with each interaction affording me an opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business. So while I credit these relationships for continually aiding in my professional development over the years, they have also yielded the creation of dozens of world class partnerships, accounting for $10's of millions in team revenue - which is success that has ultimately shaped my career. 4) My journey into pro sports actually began in coaching, with my first 2 roles being football operations internships, one with an AFL team, and the other with the Atlanta Falcons. It wasn't until the Falcons extended an additional opportunity to intern with their Partnerships department that I even realized the business side of a team existed but, after accepting that role, it became very clear where I wanted to take my career- which is the exact path I’ve been following for the past 13 years. 5) My Philosophy: “If it’s within your control, why worry? If it’s not within your control, why worry?”
