WORK EXPERIENCE United Space Alliance Titusville, FL Advanced Systems Technician 09/1988 –01/2013 • Performs the assembly, disassembly, installation, maintenance, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, quality inspections, repair, checkout, testing, service, calibration, safety assessment, and refurbishment of space craft, ground support equipment and associated hardware. • Experienced on the following systems: electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, hypergolic, cryogenic assemblies, fuel cells, auxiliary power units, freon, ammonia, structures, landing gear, main propulsion, external tank, solid rocket boosters, and navigation aids systems. • Operate the following heavy equipment: tractor trailer, tug, kamag, staircase, forklifts, man lifts, and support crane operations. • Work from drawings, schematics, diagrams, engineering instructions, documents, test procedures, vendor manuals, wiring list, and standard specifications. • Use of precision measuring equipment, layout tools and instruments. • Follow all safety procedures, regulations, and established guidelines to perform assigned duties. • Support vehicle assembly and launch pad shuttle processing. • Extensive travel to support shuttle landing at the following locations: Kennedy Space Center, FL, Edwards Air Force Base, CA, White Sands Missile Range, NM, Istres Air Force Base, France, Zaragoza/Moron Air Force Bases, Spain • Supported Orion operations at the Machoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans.
