Mike is a registered professional planner and Partner with Bousfields Inc, leading and supporting a range of development projects across the Greater Toronto Area and Eastern Ontario and preparing Planning and Urban Design Rationale reports and other land use planning deliverables. Mike regularly provides evidence as an expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal and Toronto Local Appeal Body, presents at the Committee of Adjustment and in front of Councils, and has expertise in expropriation, arbitration, land acquisition, and highest and best use studies, helping Bousfields' clients understand the value of their land. Beyond his professional role, Mike is deeply committed to improving local and global environments, and enjoys engaging in conversations about topics like the development approval landscape, public spaces, local economic development, real estate, politics, and active transportation. Mike is always open to sharing ideas, exploring new opportunities, and welcomes any questions or discussions, especially with new or aspiring planners.
