About Mike Embry

As a husband, father to four, football coach, and a 30 year plus career of sales consulting and management, I have experienced first hand the challenges and opportunities navigating a life long educational path and career. The first realization is that change is inevitable. Whether it is your first day of college, or you are 60 years young looking to hone your craft, or guiding a group of young men on the football field, one must embrace change and realize that everyone navigates change at their own pace. Second, we all need mentors/coaches. The late great basketball coach and author John Wooden has been a mentor to me on and off the field. Simple but effective guide posts - have a plan, work hard/smart and love what you do. My experience, strength and hope is that all would seek out a mentor/coach and be a mentor/coach to others. Jesus was a mentor to 12 disciples that changed the course of humanity for ever. I love InsideTrack’s mission of “unlocking human potential.” And as Coach Wooden wrote, “success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best, to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”
