Creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills.25+ years of experience in various Engineering field.Expertise includes: •Review all Request for Proposal (RFP), Engineering Work Package (EWP) and Construction Work Package (CWP) bid documents and lead the Piping discipline in completing all Piping and commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all BOM’s are included in the final price including man-hours for the project proposal.•Equipment, Plant and Layout Piping section work practices and standards, Process Flow Diagrams, Plot Plans, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Line Designation Tables, Piping Isometrics & General Arrangement Drawings, Construction Work Packages.•Develop and review Piping and Valve Specifications as per design codes ASME B31.3 and CSA Z662. •Sound knowledge of the ASME, CSA Z662, ASTM, API, and NACE standards for piping materials and components.•Proficient in different EPC Piping Materials Management Systems (EPFCCorp-WOW System & CADWorx Specification, HUSKY-SAP and Spares Finder, SAIPEM-Gespi & Picom, TOYO-Synergy & Smart Plant Material, Bantrel-BPS & Pipeworks, AMEC-Convero and Fluor-MatMan)•Receiving and summarizing of piping materials extracted from the 3D models, perform manual Material Take-Offs (MTO) from Isometrics or P & IDs and the ability to check and make sure that these are in conformance with the piping classes and client’s specifications.•Prepare and summarize Bill of Materials, and issue Material Requisitions complete with Technical Specifications, Vendor Document and Quality Surveillance requirements.•Review and approve vendor bids/quotes, approve substitutions, and issue a signed Technical Bid Evaluation.•Coordination with shops/module yards and construction site regarding Piping materials required for fabrication and/or installation.•Reconcile, respond and approve technical RFIs, Technical Specification Deviations being brought up by the client, vendors, site construction, marshaling yard, or home office engineering.•Provides technical advice as well as expertise in developing ways to improve project or systems' procedures, selecting solutions, troubleshooting and solving problems.
